The Scootly team takes the safety of our riders very seriously. Be sure to follow our riding tips closely and, of course, always ride with caution.

Tips for Riding Safely

  1. Do not ride if under the age of 18. Our rental agreement requires verifying your age in order to ride.

  2. Always wear a helmet. We strongly recommend always wearing a helmet when riding – no matter how experienced you may be.

  3. Always ride alone. Our scooters are not meant to be used by more than one person at a time.

  4. Avoid riding at night. Although our scooters are equipped with lights it is not recommended to ride in low-light environments.

  5. Use caution and obey the law. Always ride defensively so that you protect yourself and others around you. Speed limits and traffic laws must always be obeyed.

  6. Always ride sober. Never ride a scooter under the influence.

Park Safely

Our scooters are very easy to park and fold up for quick storage. Be sure to follow all laws and regulations for both outdoor and indoor use.

Tips for Parking Safely

  1. Follow all laws and regulations. Whether you're parking your scooter outside or storing it at the office, be sure to follow any applicable rules, laws or regulations.

  2. Be sure the kickstand is always down. Any time you're not riding your scooter it should either be folded and stored or parked in the standing position with the kickstand down.

  • Very convenient, they dropped the scooter at my hotel and picked it up a week later, no hassle. The scooter worked great all week, highly recommend!
